Quality Manager
About the Role
We are looking for a Quality Manager who is energized by leading people, improving processes, and helping a manufacturing team deliver high-quality work. In this role, you will oversee the quality control function, coach a team of inspectors, and partner with production, engineering, and operations to keep work moving while maintaining strong quality standards.
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, building structure, and creating a strong quality culture. The right person will be comfortable balancing day-to-day priorities with longer-term improvements that make the team more efficient, consistent, and successful.
What You'll Do
Lead, support, and develop the inspection team, including training, scheduling, coaching, and performance feedback.
Oversee daily quality control activities and help ensure work meets customer requirements, drawings, and specifications.
Keep inspection work moving efficiently while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
Partner with engineering, operations, and manufacturing teams to review and resolve quality issues.
Help identify the cause of quality concerns and support practical corrective actions.
Maintain quality records, inspection documentation, and reports that help the team track trends and improve over time.
Support internal, customer, and external audits by helping prepare information and respond to findings.
Manage inspection tools and equipment so the team has what they need to perform accurate work.
Serve as a go-to resource for quality questions, inspection approach, and product conformance.
Promote a safe, organized, and continuous-improvement focused work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management or equivalent experience
8 years of manufacturing, inspection, or quality experience, with 2 years in managerial capacity
Experience with Office software, order processing systems (ERP/MRP), contract management systems
Knowledge of inspection equipment and tools such as CMM and scanner
Deep understanding of geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T) and associated inspection techniques
- Excellent oral & written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to conduct meetings and interface in a professional manner
